Bluebird Care Sevenoaks joins the Sevenoaks Rotary relaunch

Building relationships with people and organisations across Sevenoaks is an important part of being involved in our local community.

That’s why our community engagement officer, Gerri, was pleased to join local organisations and community groups at the recent Sevenoaks Rotary relaunch event.

The evening was a chance to meet people, learn more about the work taking place across the area and celebrate the many ways local organisations support the Sevenoaks community.

Bringing the Sevenoaks community together

Gerri had the pleasure of meeting Bob Ogley during the evening, as well as chatting with people from Porchlight, Blood Runners in Kent and Leonard Cheshire in Chipstead.

Bluebird Care Sevenoaks already has a close connection with Leonard Cheshire, where Gerri enjoys volunteering and spending time with the local community.

The Sevenoaks Rotary event gave her the chance to learn more about other charities and local causes supported by the group, while meeting some of the people giving their time to support others across the area.

For us, getting involved locally is about getting to know the people and organisations around us. Events like this give our team the opportunity to build relationships and stay connected with what’s happening in the community our customers, their families and our care professionals call home.

Gerri and the team were also very grateful for the thoughtful gifts they received. It was a lovely way to finish an evening spent getting to know more of the people who give their time to the Sevenoaks community.
