Go Sober for October encourages individuals to have an alcohol free month for the 31 days in October, whilst raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan are a continual support to those facing cancer, giving them the energy and inspiration to take back control of their life.

Therefore every penny raised will help towards supporting an individual through this difficult time.

Sarah commented;

I decided to take part in this year’s Go Sober 2016 as it is a charity that is very close to my heart. The work that Macmillan do to help support individuals and their families going through this difficult time is so important and hopefully any money I can raise will help an individual and their loved ones get the support they need during this time”
