We are being vaccinated at Bluebird Care Rushmoor & Surrey Heath
By offering support and encouragement to help promote the covid vaccination to our teams, here at Bluebird Care we know that we are playing our part in the fight against the pandemic.
At Bluebird Care Rushmoor & Surrey Heath, never more so have we been focused on our role of keeping our customers safe and protected within their own homes. We’ve also always had a focus on our wonderful staff and care teams and in our quest to also keep them safe, we’re now working hard to encourage and promote the uptake of the covid-19 vaccination.
So far all our care team who wanted to be vaccinated have been. We have a minority of carers who declined the vaccine but we are still maintaining PPE and government guidelines.

We know that being vaccinated means you're much less likely to become ill with coronavirus and that the vaccines offered are licensed and approved and have gone through all the necessary stages of development to make them safe and effective.
“It’s important that we offer our support to everyone within our wonderful care team and that support extends to when they receive the covid vaccine,” says Katerina Papamichalaki who is director at Bluebird Care Rushmoor & Surrey Heath. “Our job is to keep our customers safe and protected and we’re now doing the same for our staff too.”
“Many of our team have now had their first vaccinations and we’re immensely proud of them.”
