Ami Parmar - Director
Ami Parmar is Director of Bluebird Care Rugby & Lutterworth, with overall responsibility for the standard of care delivered. Ami's own experience arranging care for a family member led her to establish the business, and she leads a team of Care Experts with a focus on trust, respect and treating care as a relationship rather than just a service. Under her leadership, the office is known for it's focus on a high standard of care as well as transparent, fair pricing, with no hidden fees.

Justine - Registered Manager
Justine is the Registered Manager for Bluebird Care Rugby & Lutterworth, overseeing care standards and making sure every care plan is followed properly. She is also the CQC Nominated Individual for Rugby & Lutterworth, with direct responsibility for the quality and safety of care delivered. Under her watchful eye, our Care Services are rated Good by the CQC. Justine works closely with the local team of Care Experts to keep standards consistent, whether that's through training, care plan reviews, or simply staying closely involved in how care is delivered day to day.

Sarah - Field Care Supervisor
Sarah's role as Field Care Supervisor involves overseeing the quality and consistency of care delivered in customers' homes, acting as the link between the Care Experts on the ground and the office-based team. This typically includes spot-checks and observed visits, reviewing and updating care and support plans, carrying out risk assessments, and introducing new Care Experts to customers before care begins. Sarah is hands-on in this role, helping to make sure the standard of care agreed in each customer's plan is being delivered day to day.

Veticana - Care Coordinator
Veticana's role as Care Coordinator for Bluebird Care Rugby & Lutterworth, involves matching Care Experts to customers and managing the day-to-day visits, making sure every customer is seen by the right person at the right time. This typically includes handling schedule changes and setting up rotas for new customers coming on board. Veticana is often the first point of contact for customers and families getting in touch with the office, and works closely with Sarah, our Field Care Supervisor and Justine, our Registered Manager to keep everyone up to date. It's a coordinating role at the centre of the team, helping make sure care runs smoothly day to day.
Meeting the team before care begins
Wherever possible, we'll introduce your Care Expert to you before care begins, so you and your family member can meet them and ask questions before anything is booked in. Every Care Expert is fully vetted, including an enhanced DBS check, and trained to recognise the signs of abuse as well as deliver day-to-day care. If you or a family member ever have a worry about safety, you can raise it with the office directly, and we'll always take it seriously and follow it up properly.

Why the team matters as much as the care plan
Families often tell us that who turns up matters just as much as what's written in the care plan. Care Experts who know Rugby & Lutterworth and the surrounding villages, and who see the same customers regularly, pick up on small changes in a way a rotating team never could. That's why we try to keep the same Care Expert or small group of Care Experts with each customer wherever possible.

Our office staff are also based locally
So any questions you have about scheduling, billing or care plan changes go to someone who already knows your loved one. New Care Experts complete a structured training programme, covering classroom learning and practical scenarios, before working with customers independently, and training continues after that rather than stopping once induction is done. It keeps pace with things like dementia care best practice, so the level of support stays consistent as the team grows.
What happens if your usual Care Expert is away
We keep the number of different Care Experts visiting each client to an absolute minimum, even when someone's on holiday or off sick. We have enough team members locally to cover these gaps without bringing in an unfamiliar face from outside the area. Anyone covering a visit will always introduce themselves and will already have been briefed on the client's care and support plan, so nothing has to be explained from scratch. Every Care Expert carries an identity badge, so you can always confirm who's at the door before letting them in.
How we keep customers safe
Every Care Expert is fully vetted, including an enhanced DBS check, before they're allowed to visit a customer's home. Training covers recognising the signs of abuse as well as day-to-day care, and Care Experts have a duty to report any concerns straight to their manager. If you or a family member ever have a worry about safety, you can raise it with the office directly, and we'll always take it seriously and follow it up properly.
Keeping care plans up to date
Every visit is recorded, either through our electronic care planning system or in the care and support plan kept in the home, so there's always a clear, up-to-date picture of what's happened and what's needed next. Care plans themselves are reviewed regularly, usually every six months or sooner if things change, so support keeps pace with what your loved one actually needs.
If a particular Care Expert isn't the right fit for any reason, let us know and we'll make alternate arrangements. We'd rather sort that out early than have a family struggle on with a match that isn't working.

If you'd like to know more about who might be visiting or living with a family member, get in touch and we can talk through the team and how Care Experts are matched to customers. We're also happy to arrange an introduction before care begins, so you and your family member can meet the Care Expert first and ask any questions directly. Every Care Expert is fully vetted, including an enhanced DBS check, before they visit a customer's home, and we're glad to talk through our safeguarding and recruitment process if that would help put your mind at rest.
