A Career In Homecare Is... Flexible!

People choose to work in healthcare for a number of reasons, but one of the benefits is that it is extremely flexible! Care Assistant Lucy shares a little more in this short article.
Lucy works in the community providing our customers with care support that enables them to remain at home for as long as possible.
She is pictured with Care Supervisor Kayleigh as the support from the office team helps give her the confidence that she needs to be able to support our customers well.
The whole team here at Bluebird Care treat every member of staff extremely well. It is also always nice to know that there is someone at the end of the phone when you need them!

Lucy has been part of the team for just under a year and chose to work with us because of how the rota that she receives fits well around her lifestyle as well as looking after her daughter.
Since joining, Lucy explained that she was made to feel very welcome and there is a really nice atmosphere, which really contributes to a positive working environment!
A lot of our Care Assistants are working mums or have other commitments that their role fits well around. This is certainly one of the benefits of a career in care!
