We are delighted to introduce you to Cat, who will be a familiar face to many and has just joined the office team to provide admin support!
Cat has always worked in care or cared for family members and therefore, for her, care is something that is very personal.
Care is very personal to me and something that motivates me each and every day!
In particular, care has a very personal meaning to Cat because her mum and grandad both came to live with her when they needed support. Her grandad required support following two strokes and her mum had cancer.
Prior to this, Cat was carer to both sets of grandparents and when she was in junior school, Cat used to go to the local care home and help out at just aged 11!
Cat chose to work for Bluebird Care after gaining experience working in a care home setting and opted to do so because of the good feedback from both customers and her friends.
Working in the office gave me a real big boost. It helped me progress my career and is a brilliant opportunity!

In addition, Cat provided care for a few days each week privately and we provided support for the days she couldn't be there. This meant that Cat also experienced the high standard of care we provide first hand!
As well as working as a carer, Cat also worked as a lecturer after gaining her teaching degree in 2011 and also gaining her assessors award. She has also worked as a hairdresser, where she was able to meet and get to know lots of new people!
It's fantastic to have Cat in the office! She provides extremely valuable support to both myself and the team, as we strive to deliver the best care possible to our customers!
