We are delighted to announce that our recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection has rated the service that we provide our customers as 'good' in all areas inspected!

The whole team has worked hard to achieve this outcome and we would like to thank everyone for the part that they played in achieving such a brilliant result.

Achieving a 'good' in our CQC inspection has been a significant piece of work since I was promoted to the role of Care Manager and something that has taken a lot of hard work by the whole team. I am absolutely delighted about the result and it is extremely encouraging to see all of the hard work that we put in paying off. Well done to the whole team!

We have made a lot of changes since our last inspection in September 2018 and as well as promoting Jess to the position of Care Manager, we have welcomed Halina to the team as Registered Manager.

Halina is also the Registered Manager for our office in Hounslow & Chiswick and with over 36 years of experience in healthcare, she brought her wealth of experience to the team here in Rother & Hastings.

I am honoured to be part of such a fantastic team and ecstatic about the outcome of our inspection. Achieving this has been our goal since I started working with the team earlier in the year and we went right back to basics with everything, leaving no stone unturned. This is a true team effort and I am proud of each person, who has had their part to play!

Halina supported the team as they took everything back to basics and worked to make ensure that the office is streamlined with improvements being implemented where required along with making sure that all policies and procedures mirror that of Hounslow & Chiswick.

This is a very well deserved result and follows hard work from the whole team. Both myself and my colleague Kayleigh have been working hard to make sure that everything is up to date over the past few months and it has been encouraging to see the hard work paying off!

During the inspection, one of our customers remarked: "The calibre of the carers is very good indeed. They are attentive, caring and cheerful." Another happy relative to a customer declared relative said, "They are very efficient and kind. We are glad we chose Bluebird Care."

In addition, our fantastic Care Assistants had glowing feedback about how our service is run as well as our culture and ethos.

In the lead up to the inspection, I worked hard to make our Care Assistants' rounds more efficient as well as the logging in and out of our care system during visits. Feedback I have received is that communication in the office is now much better. I am tremendously happy about the outcome and was ecstatic when the result came in!

A member of staff explained: "I'm really impressed with Bluebird Care. I wanted a change, and something drew me here. I'd heard good things. They genuinely do care about their customers. There is good support if there is a problem or with suggestions if I need something."

We have a brilliant team and could not have achieved this outcome without the passion, hard work and dedication of each individual person. I am incredibly proud of the quality of service we provide our customers and this report includes some glowing feedback that reflects this. We are now striving to achieve a rating of 'outstanding' and following the excellent feedback from this inspection, I am confident that we will achieve this in our next visit!
