Ensuring Our Customers Are Safe

We have recently been running a campaign to raise awareness of fire safety. With recent statistics showing a 20% increase in deaths from fire in the UK, we wanted to make sure that our customers were safe. As part of this our Care Assistants and office staff have been visiting customers to test their smoke alarms and make sure that precautions or plans are in place should they ever be needed.

As part of this our Care Assistants and office staff have been visiting customers to test their smoke alarms and make sure that precautions or plans are in place should they ever be needed.

For those whom we feel a little more assistance is required, we are making a referral to the fire service so they can advise on any preventative measures. Where we find any smoke detectors not working, we are fitting new batteries at no cost to our customer.
The safety and wellbeing of our customers is out number one priority here at Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings. This campaign is extremely important given the fire related incidents across the country over the past 12 months.

Our customers and their relatives have received this campaign extremely well and with open arms. Not only this, but many have thanked us for taking the time to go the extra mile and check they are safe.

We are proud to be able to provide this support and also call in advice from our local fire service where we feel it is needed.
