Judy Makes An Incredible Difference!

We have recently launched our #MakeADifference campaign, where we are raising awareness of the difference that a career in care can make to the lives of our customers and how rewarding it is for our incredible Care Assistants. Our goal is to also celebrate those who are part of our team and we recently spent some time with our longest standing Care Assistant, Judy, who has been part of the team since 2015.

I came from a family of nurses and have wanted to work in the caring profession since I was a child. This was because I simply enjoy taking care of people; I guess it kind of runs through the family really!
I was delighted to join the Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings team shortly after they opened and have found them to be a very pleasant company to work for. The team is really supportive and I regularly recommend them to people looking for a career in care!
I am particularly passionate about care provided at home as whilst a care home can be nice, there simply is no place like home.
For those I support, living at home means that they are in familiar surroundings with their possessions and happy memories all around them. This is really important for the wellbeing of our customers.
I really feel like a part of the lives of my customers; whom I visit regularly and have never looked back since joining the team here!
