As we strive to deliver a high standard of care to our customers, ongoing training and support plays an incredibly important role.

Our training is all delivered face to face in the specially designed facilities at our office. The training we deliver equips our team of Care Assistants to provide the standard of care that we are proud to uphold.

In order to develop the skills of our staff even further and invest in the training we provide, we are excited to announce that Amy has been appointed as our first ever dedicated trainer!

Having previously volunteered at her local hospital A&E and as an Operational First Aider with St John Ambulance, Amy has a true passion for the provision of high quality care.

She previously worked with our office team as a Care Supervisor and will now have a specific focus on the delivery of training to our team.

As we continue to grow, this is a really exciting development for us.

Managing Director Sai commented:
The Registered Manager is usually responsible for delivering the training to our staff, however with the business growing, we wanted to create a role that is dedicated solely on training.

We felt that Amy was the ideal person to take on this important role. Not just because of her background and experience, but her general nature.

She is a very passionate individual and very patient. She has exactly the right attitude needed to ensure that our Care Assistants are fully prepared before their first care visit.
Amy explained:
I am thrilled and very proud to be the trainer for Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings!

I enjoy creating and delivering extensive courses for all of our staff. This covers a wide range of mandatory subjects, as well as specialist training and awareness courses.

We have an incredible team and I get great job satisfaction in supporting them on their journey to become highly skilled and competent Care Assistants who go on to provide the highest quality of care to our customers.
