Our Registered Care Manager, Michelle Neild, passed her Level 5 qualification
Michelle Neild has been the Registered Care Manager with us since we started in 2018. During that time, with all the challenges that Covid 19 has brought, Michelle has steered our ship through the choppy waters of the Care Sector. Despite already having a Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degree, the Care Quality Commission recommend that Registered Care Managers are Level 5 qualified in Health and Social Care.
Michelle's instructor for the Level 5, Claire Jennings, from Rochdale Training said of her efforts:
Michelle’s started on her level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Care) and was extremely dedicated and committed to completing this, recognising the importance of having this qualification for her position at Bluebird Care. Michelle also used the opportunity to develop her skills and knowledge in management and across the range of laws and policies that apply in health and social care management.
Michelle also completed the level 2 English qualification in Functional skills, which is also a nationally recognised qualification that will stay with her forever. commented how, despite her workload, Michelle had completed all her assignments to a really high standard.
We are delighted that Michelle has finally finished the qualification and encourage all our team to continually develop themselves. Michelle sets a high standard in her work and mentors the whole of the team in ensuring they deliver the very best of care to our customers. We have had some real challenges since we started and Michelle has risen to them all.
