Throughout June Maria will be working and cycling 20 miles a day for 20 days after work to raise funds for The Care Workers' Charity.

Our director at Bluebird Care Richmond & Twickenham, Maria, is taking part in a 2020 Lockdown Indoor Cycle Challenge to raise funds for The Care Workers' Charity.

Throughout June Maria will be working and cycling 20 miles a day for 20 days after work to raise as much as she can for this wonderful charity. Please donate whatever you can and give back to our Care Workers who have given so much to our communities; visit her Justgiving fundraising page to follow her journey.

Care workers across the country play a big part in keeping people out of hospital every day, not just during this current COVID-19 pandemic. However, they have been at the frontline of the coronavirus crisis, caring for society's most vulnerable and most susceptible to the disease, keeping them safe and well - even though they could be putting themselves at risk. Many care workers are not part of the NHS, they work for small home care companies and if a care worker needs to self-isolate, they could fall into desperate need. This is where the Care Workers Charity comes in, with their grants; The Crisis Grant Fund and the Covid-19 Emergency Fund.
