Peter Slough - Managing Director / Owner
Peter’s first experience arranging care was filled with frustration and anxiety due to poor customer service and a lack of support. This inspired him to create a better way. Now, with over a decade of industry experience, he owns and manages three London-based Bluebird Care offices. Prior to embarking on his journey in care, Peter earned a law degree and worked for an NGO in New Delhi, advocating for policy changes to improve lives. This passion for transformative change is reflected in his leadership of Bluebird Care Richmond & Twickenham which are rated as ‘Good’ services by the CQC. Peter’s mission is to empower clients to live well in the comfort of their home by creating the best in-home care and support. He prioritises delivering compassionate, professional care that he would trust for his own family, which is reflective in building his business largely through referrals and recommendations. With Bluebird franchise partner, Tim Rowland-Jones they now operate the largest multi branch franchise business within the Bluebird Care network, providing home care services across Southwest England, Oxfordshire and London.

Tim Rowland-Jones - Managing Director / Owner
Tim brings extensive business management experience to his role overseeing Bluebird Care Richmond & Twickenham. Before venturing into home care, he led a successful multi-channel retail business. However, his perspective changed when his grandfather’s dementia highlighted the urgent need for high-quality, compassionate care. This personal experience inspired him to open his first Bluebird Care office in Bath where they have provided a high-quality service for over a decade, achieving an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating for the branch. Tim is dedicated to making a difference and ensures all carers receive advanced training, allowing them to specialise in areas such as dementia, post-op rehabilitation, Parkinson’s, and complex care. He is focused on matching clients with the right carers based on personality and expertise, ensuring a truly personalised service. His own father now benefits from live-in care, fuelling his on-going commitment to provide exceptional services to his local communities. With Bluebird franchise partner, Peter Slough they now operate the largest multi branch franchise business within the Bluebird Care network, providing home care services across Southwest England, Oxfordshire and London.

Melony Fairchild - Operations Director
As Operations Director, Melony plays a vital role in leading and shaping the operations of five Bluebird Care territories, including Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Kensington & Chelsea, Oxford, Richmond and Twickenham and Westminster and City of London. She is responsible for overseeing all operational functions across the multi franchise network, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality care services. With direct oversight of all Registered Managers (RMs), Melony ensures that every branch operates efficiently, consistently meeting both internal benchmarks and regulatory standards. In her capacity as the Nominated Individual for the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Melony is instrumental in upholding the highest standards of care and compliance. She works diligently to ensure that the organisation not only meets but exceeds the stringent requirements set by the CQC, safeguarding the well-being of customers and maintaining trust with families. Melony’s journey into the care sector began in 2004 after an accomplished career in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to this she completed vital work for the Cardiff Drugs and Alcohol Unit. Her transition into care was a natural progression, fuelled by a passion for helping others.

Sarah Walker - Registered Manager
Sarah joined Bluebird Care in 2022 as a Care Assistant to gain valuable hands-on experience while studying for her HND in Health and Social Care. She quickly progressed within the branch, becoming a Senior Carer and later Lead Customer Care Manager, all while working towards her NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management. Now as our Registered Manager, Sarah leads the service with a strong focus on delivering exceptional, person-centred care. She oversees all aspects of service delivery, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across the team. Sarah continues to play an active role in supporting customers and their families, ensuring care and support plans are tailored, regularly reviewed, and truly reflective of individual needs. She is passionate about maintaining open communication, achieving positive outcomes, and supporting her team to provide outstanding care every day.

Sylwia Sobolewska - Care Development Lead
Sylwia joined Bluebird Care in 2009, having worked in a luxury care home setting managing a dementia unit, where she gained profound insights into the tough decisions families face when arranging long term care. This sparked a passion for providing families with purposeful guidance to make the right decisions about care for a loved one. She firmly believes that people can receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes. With a degree in Tourism and Recreation, Sylwia wanted to develop her skills in care and completed the NVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care. Now as Care Development Lead for Richmond and Twickenham, Sylwia is responsible for managing all new customer enquiries, ensuring that those looking for care get information, guidance and support to make the right care decision. She is passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience that has a positive impact on people’s lives. She will meet with families ahead of a service starting to understand their needs and preferences, so the right care team can be put in place and then continues to provide on-going support to those receiving care and their families.
