Bluebird Care has been helping their customers see family members and friends over zoom throughout the Covid-19 lockdown. Bluebird Care Reading, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell have noticed that shielding has caused a lot of loneliness and isolation.

Bluebird Care Reading, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell thought an Easter card from a pupil at a local primary school would help lift their customers spirits and show their customers everyone is thinking about them and that they are not alone.

The Ridgeway Primary School in Hillbrow and Lowbrook Academy in the Fairway, welcomed this idea and were delighted to take part. The home care provider received cards to give to their customers from pupils of all ages.

Between the two schools, Bluebird Care Reading, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell were able to give out 120 cards to their customers.

Louise, a Member of Staff at Lowbrook Acadamy, said:

“We know that times have been very tough over the last year, particularly for those who have been unable to see their families and have been quite isolated from the world.  We also know that children have a certain magic about them.  They have an ability to spread happiness, joy and kindness to all around them. So, of course, we were delighted to have an opportunity to spread such magic to those who need it the most. From all at Lowbrook, we wish you all a happy and joyful Easter and we hope our cards have brought you a smile.”

Cynthia Andrews, Bluebird Care Reading, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell customer, added:

A BIG thank you to year 4 at the Ridgeway Primary School for their Easter Card, very nicely done. Happy Easter to you all.
