On Friday 25th September Bluebird Care were out delivering afternoon tea to all our customers who have supported this years Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event
In 2019, Macmillan raised an incredible £27.5m and are aiming to top that this year, and with the help and support that our customers and carers showed last year we were able to raised an amazing £844.00.
On Friday 25thSeptember people all over the UK were hosting their own Coffee Mornings in a very different way this year with the COVID pandemic still at large.
More now than ever charities like Macmillan need our help and support. Adhering to social distancing and te goverment guidlines we were not be able to hold our annual coffee morning this year, however we still got involved! nothing will stop us from enjoying cake!
We partnered up with a local company called Partylicious based in Maidenhead and together we were able to create an amazing afternoon tea box for our customers and carers. Not only has this supported Macmillan, it brough some much needed company and smiles to our customers faces.
It was a great day and soon we will have the total amount raised for 2020's Biggest Coffee Morning.
