Every year we like to recognise the hard work, dedication and passion all our team provide to our customers and each other. What makes these awards so special is that the nominations are made by our customers and team of carers of who they think should win each award, and this year Anne-Marie takes the award for Live in Carer of the Year for 2019.

Anne-Marie has won this award because she has expanded her skill set with the range of customers she has been supporting, she has pushed herself to support people with higher needs and palliative care. Anne-Marie has shown exceptional organising skills, medication accuracy and provided comfort and stability for customers and their family members. Anne-Marie is a very caring and compassionate person and has shown to be a real asset to the live in care team since she joined us in 2017.
Thank you to everyone, winning this award was completely unexpected and means such a lot to me. It is so encouraging to feel recognised and appreciated for the work we do. Doing this job can be very difficult and isolating at times and it is great to know that the effort put in does not go unnoticed. I will make sure that I do everything I can to live up to the accolade.
