Opening Our Doors to the Community
We recently opened the doors to our new Twyford office and welcomed the community to celebrate this exciting new chapter with us.
A New Chapter Begins in Twyford
Our recent Open Day in Twyford marked an exciting new chapter for Bluebird Care — and, most importantly, it was a chance to bring our community together.
We were delighted to welcome local residents, customers, care professionals and partner organisations to our brand-new office at Centrum House. The day was filled with conversation, connection and a shared commitment to delivering outstanding care across Reading, Wokingham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell.
Guests were invited to explore the newly refurbished space, including our dedicated training room, which will support the development of both new and existing care professionals. Designed not just as an office, but as a hub for learning and collaboration, the space reflects our ongoing investment in raising standards in home and live-in care.
A special highlight of the day was the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Mayor of Wokingham Borough Council, Carol Jewell. We were also proud to welcome local charities Age Concern Twyford and The Cowshed, who shared more about their vital work supporting people in the community.
Tushar Shah and Mehul Shah, Directors of Centrum Care Group, reflected on the occasion:
Seeing our new office come to life with so many people joining us was a proud moment. It’s more than a workplace — it’s a space for learning and innovation in care. Our goal has always been to raise standards while giving back to the community, and this new space helps us do both. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and supported the day.
Visitors had the opportunity to meet members of our team, learn more about our services, and explore career opportunities in care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with ideas, experiences and aspirations shared freely throughout the day.
Rebecca Hawkins, Managing Director, said:
This event was a true reflection of everything we stand for — community, care and connection. It was fantastic to welcome people into our new home and show how invested we are in the future of care in this region. I’m so proud of our team for making it such a memorable day.
Our Twyford office has been thoughtfully designed to support not only day-to-day operations, but also training, collaboration and community engagement. From carer workshops and recruitment events to sessions for local groups and charities, the space will play an important role in strengthening care across the region.
This Open Day wasn’t simply about opening a new building — it was about opening our doors wider to the community we are proud to serve.
