Bringing Joy, Connection and Community Spirit This Christmas
The festive season is always a special time in care — a time for connection, kindness and creating meaningful moments. This Christmas, our team went above and beyond to ensure customers across our community felt remembered, valued and celebrated.
Spreading Christmas Cheer Across Our Community
The festive season at Bluebird Care was filled with warmth, laughter and truly heartwarming moments as we celebrated Christmas with our customers, team members and the wider community.
Throughout December, our Care Experts brought an extra touch of magic to the season. Santa and his elves — Bryan, Julie and Tracey — visited customers in their own homes, delivering festive biscuits and handmade Christmas cards created by children from Hawkedon Primary School in Lower Earley.
These simple but thoughtful visits brought smiles, sparked conversations and created memories that will last long beyond the season itself.

Celebrating Together
We were also delighted to join Age Concern Twyford Day Centre for their Christmas celebrations. Customers and carers came together to enjoy Christmas dinner, pull crackers, sing along to festive favourites and even take to the dance floor.
Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the importance of community — especially at a time of year that can feel isolating for some. Sharing laughter, music and companionship made the celebrations all the more meaningful.
Giving Back
Our commitment to spreading joy extended beyond visits and parties. Through our Tree of Hope initiative, we proudly supported The Cowshed by collecting gifts for local children in need.
Staff, customers and members of the community generously donated presents, filling the tree with festive surprises. Members of our team also visited the charity to help wrap gifts and see first-hand the incredible difference their work makes.
The Cowshed provides practical support, emotional reassurance and seasonal joy to disadvantaged families, helping ensure every child experiences the magic of Christmas.
In addition, our partnership with Physiocare in Twyford helped extend the spirit of giving even further, with wellness initiatives planned for the new year to support our carers, customers and staff.
