At Bluebird Care West Dorset, we understand that providing exceptional care isn’t just about meeting practical needs - it’s about enriching the lives of our customers. Last week was a perfect example of how small moments can create lasting memories, as Beccy took our lovely customer Kay, to the cinema to watch Wicked.
Kay had this to say about the day:
"Today meant a lot to me, as not only did I get to see an amazing film, but share a common interest with a lovely lady and spend some much-needed time outside of my home environment."
This magical outing began with a shared passion. During one of Kay’s care calls, she and Beccy discovered their mutual love for Wicked, the musical. This led to a day our where they went to watch the movie together, followed by an in-depth debrief.
Beccy shared her thoughts on their day out:
"After discovering our shared love for Wicked the musical during Kay's care calls, it was so lovely to be able to spend this magical moment watching the movie together, as well as a thorough debrief after, of course! We had a really wicked time!"
Kay expressed her gratitude for Beccy and the rest of her Bluebird Care team:
"
As always, Bluebird goes beyond any routines and care needs a person may have to make their day shine brighter. Once again, please thank Beccy for today and the rest of my care team for their helping hands and continued engagement with my interests. It is much appreciated. No care call ever feels dull."
