Meet our team of care professionals

Jackie Galbraith
Community Care Lead - Purbeck

Jackie has 10 years' experience in the community, hospitals, hospice and care homes. In this time, she has completed my NVQ level 2 and 3. 

Jackie is very hands on, and enjoy going out and visiting the customers and assisting them in their homes. Jackie is very expeirneced in end of life and dementia care.

In her spare time, Jackie likes to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys water colour painting. 

Aleasha Ellis
Registered Care Manager

Aleasha has been working in care the care industry for nine years. Over these nine years she has worked in both care homes and in hospitals. Aleasha joined Bluebird Care in 2020 as a Community Care Leader for Weymouth, and at the start of in 2022 Aleasha took on the role as Care Manager. 

Aleasha has a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare (non-honours) and before that completed a certificate in health and social care. In her spare time Aleasha loves attending festivals, watching live music, and choosing her next tattoo. 

Emma Raven
Care Coordinator

Emma has worked in the care industry since 2015 after completing a Diploma in Health and Social Care. In this time, Emma has completed a Leadership and Management qualification and undertaken various roles within the industry including Lead Coordinator, Deputy Manager and Welfare Manager roles. In her spare time, Emma is completing a diploma in Counselling Practice, enjoys drawing, traveling and seeing friends.

Kara Fergurson
Community Care Lead

Kara kas been working in care for 6 years, working in community care for a little under four years and has been our Community Care Lead for almost 2 years.

As Kara has grown in her career, she's found herself to be more of people person and loves being very hands on with her job. 

Kara has a busy social life and loves spending time with people, but she also loves going home at the end of he day and relaxing with her family and her dog.

In Kara's spare time she loves to walk, spending time with her children and going paddle boarding.

Adam Kerswell
Training and Compliance Manager

Adam has been involved in care since a young age, as he was caring for a family member from age of 12. He has also worked in the community alongside managing a care home. Adam traveled to America to be a sports coach for young people and children with learning disabilities for 3 summers between 2001 to 2003. 

  • Adam has done volunteer work for the London ambulance service as a first responder, involved in helping in the 2012 London Olympics
  •  Enjoys playing skittles at a local pub and has won trophies for the last 10 years
