Community Access

Book visits without a contract to support ad-hoc appointments that make your life easier, safer and more enjoyable.

Our Community Access and Companionship Service enables you to book ad-hoc visits from a Bluebird Care Support team member to make your life easier, safer and more enjoyable. You do not need to have a full-time contract and care plan with Bluebird Care to benefit from this service, making it the perfect service to maintain the independence of people who do not otherwise need care.

Do you need support getting to and from a hospital or doctor’s appointment? Our team not only gets you there in time, they can also stay with you, helping you find your way around an unfamiliar environment.

Perhaps there are activities you’d like to attend in your local community, or places you’d like to visit, where the presence of a support worker will give you the confidence to get out and about.

Our Bluebird Care Support team can accompany you with the following:

  • Doctor or Hospital appointments
  • Hairdresser, beauty salon, dentist appointments
  • Companionship visits
  • Pick-up and drop-offs
  • Days out
  • Accessing the community

All of our support team are fully trained with an enhanced DBS check. Bookings start from a minimum of 1 hour, and may be available at short notice.
