Bluebird Care Pontypridd, a provider of home care services in the Pontypridd area, has received glowing feedback from the independent sector regulator Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), for the second year in a row. The service began operating in November 2021, delivering high-quality care to the community and earning accolades from both their customers and regulators alike.
The CIW report on their recent inspection of Bluebird Care Pontypridd contains glowing feedback from the people supported by the care team: “They’re amazing…they’re a god send…life has changed for the better”. Another relative of a customer was quoted in the report saying: “They are very good in enabling mum…there’s always laughing…they put that extra smile on her face…brighten her day”.
Meanwhile, according to the CIW report, the Bluebird Care Pontypridd care team feels very confident and happy in their roles, with one staff member noting: “I feel well supported…better than any other company I’ve been in previously…can’t fault the whole team”.
The inspectors from Care Inspectorate Wales praised the home care team for their dedication to supporting customers in the Welsh language, including with Welsh-specific written guidance, as they expand their Welsh language offer.
In 2023 and 2022, Bluebird Care Pontypridd was named one of the top 20 home care providers in Wales from the sector’s main independent customer review site homecare.co.uk.
Mo Fazal, Director of Bluebird Care Pontypridd, expressed his admiration for the team's achievements, stating: “When launching this business, our aim was to provide care the way it should be delivered. Two years later, our clients have voted us the best in Wales, and our regulators at CIW have consistently given us great feedback in our inspections.”
Fazal also shared why the latest glowing report from the sector regulators means so much, mentioning: “The social care industry has a very negative reputation, but we aim to demonstrate to the local community that there is a provider who does things the right way, without cutting corners, while promoting independence and providing quality service interactions.”
