Winter, and especially Christmas, is a time to be with and celebrate with family and friends. But a recent poll carried out by Bluebird Care discovered that a startling 1.3 million older people across the UK are lonely, and will be during this cold winter season.

In response to this, Bluebird Care are launching a campaign to recruit more Care Assistants in order to increase customer visits this winter.

As the winter approaches, the volume of older people that continue to live with loneliness is staggering and there is a high demand for home care. At Bluebird Care Plymouth we are hoping this new campaign will help raise awareness to lonlieness amongst the elderly, and it will help us to find those in our communities who want to care.
