Twiddle Muffs!

Volunteers knit Twiddle muffs for our dementia patients!

We have a wonderful Knitting Club who donated their time to create these wonderful twiddle muffs for our dementia patients.  Twiddle muffs are knitted muffs with various items attached to keep dementia patients' hands active and busy.  They contain strands of textured ribbons, bed & various fabrics attached both inside and out.  


People with dementia often have restless hands and like to have something to keep their hands occupied.  A twiddle muff provides a wonderful source of visual, tactile and sensory stimulation, and keep hands warm and snug at the same time.
