With temperatures rising and another heatwave expected, Bluebird Care Peterborough & Oundle have taken proactive steps to support both customers and care experts during the warmer weather.
As part of their ongoing commitment to going above and beyond for the people they support, the teams have created and distributed Customer Hydration Packs to all customers, providing practical items and helpful guidance to help everyone stay safe, cool and hydrated during periods of extreme heat.
Each Customer Hydration Pack includes:
A Bluebird Care water bottle
A hand-held fan
A freezable ice pop

A customer survey
A hydration guide filled with useful advice for staying safe in hot weather
The packs have been designed to offer simple, practical support while reminding customers that their wellbeing is always at the heart of everything Bluebird Care does.
Alongside supporting customers, Bluebird Care has also been looking after its dedicated team of Care Experts who continue to provide essential care visits in the community throughout the warmer weather.
To help Care Experts stay hydrated while working out and about in the heat, every member of the care team has been provided with a £5 hydration voucher to encourage them to purchase drinks and maintain their fluid intake while carrying out their important work.
The initiative reflects Bluebird Care’s commitment to responding to the changing needs of customers and colleagues, ensuring that the right support is in place when it is needed most.
