Healthcare Business Magazine joins us in celebrating 100 years of excellent home care by sharing the stories and happy memories of 10 long-standing care assistants. Each have each delivered more than 10 years of excellent home care in their local communities. 

Joshua Makumbe, care assistant at Bluebird Care Newbury, says "I really enjoy caring for people in their own homes and I find great satisfaction in doing the very best for my customers and making their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as possible."

Sandra Owen, care assistant at Bluebird Care Hook & Kingsclere and Bluebird Care Newbury, says "I love the joy my job can bring to others and feel passionately about helping people, particularly those living with dementia."

Rama Bhatt, senior care assistant at Bluebird Care Harrow, says "Seeing people’s faces light up when you walk through the door makes the job so worthwhile."
