She then progressed to Moving & Handling Instructor, Medication Trainer/Officer and Recruitment Coordinator, before joining Bluebird Care in 2016 as our Recruitment & HR Manager.

Vicky's qualifications include NVQ Level 2, various Train The Trainer certificates, PTTLS (teaching) Level 4, prescription training and she also became a Dementia Coach in 2014 with the Norfolk and Suffolk Dementia Alliance. Sarah Johnson
Lead Supervisor

Sarah joined Bluebird Care as one of our very first care assistants, shortly after we opened our office here in Norfolk in 2010. We are very proud of Sarah, as she is now our longest serving employee within the Bluebird Care ‘family’ here in Norwich & North Norfolk and has contributed to the success, growth and progression of our service over the years.

Sarah is a respected and loyal member of the team, always dedicated to providing the highest quality of service and support for our customers and staff. Having carved an impressive and progressive career path over the past 10 years, Sarah always remains dedicated and committed to her customers and colleague's day to day. She has worked very hard to achieve a number of professional qualifications since joining Bluebird Care and successfully completed her Level 5 in leadership and management in the summer of 2019.

Sarah says:

“I joined Bluebird Care in October 2010 and was among the first five care assistants employed by the company. I started off as a part time Care Assistant with no background in the industry and little idea of what to expect. With thorough training and support of the management team I soon found that it was not only rewarding, but also a role I enjoyed and wanted to build my career on with Bluebird Care.

During my time with Bluebird Care I completed my Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas in Health and Social Care becoming a full time supervisor in April 2013. I then moved to become the Care Co-ordinator later in the same year. Both roles offered different challenges and gave me a great sense of satisfaction. I went on to complete my Level 3 diploma in Business Administration and I have recently completed my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

My current role of Lead Supervisor allows me the opportunity to support the Supervisor and Co-ordinator team as well as the Care Assistants and also work closely with our customers to build person centred care packages and ensure our customers are receiving good quality care".

Rachelle Stafford
Care Coordinator

I kind of fell into Health & Social Care in July 2019, as it enabled me to work around my family, however I found that I loved being a Care Assistant and supporting people to remain in their own homes. Every day is different and it’s an amazingly rewarding career, and I haven’t looked back, so much so I have progressed my career in care, from being a Home Care Assistant, a Reablement Support Worker, a Care Supervisor and now a Care Coordinator for Bluebird Care Norwich & North Norfolk. I’m looking forward to supporting everyone with my experience and knowledge that I have gained over the years.

In my spare time throughout the summer months, I enjoy following the British Touring Car Championship and have travelled around various circuits to watch the racing over the years, Donnington and Snetterton being my favourite tracks. When I go to Snetterton, my friends and family join me and my 5 year old God Daughter loves to come and see her favourite racing drivers Josh Cook and Jade Edwards and have a cup of tea and chocolate bar with them.

Charlie Munday
Care Supervisor

"I started my career with BluebirdCare Norwich and North Norfolk in 2019 as a carer, with no experience and feeling a little anxious, but I built my knowledge and confidence with the support of the amazing office team. I love being a carer, seeing the difference I can make to a persons life. Seeing them smile knowing they’re safe and looked after is so rewarding. I became a mentor at the start of 2022, I wanted to help and support the carers like my mentor did for me in 2019. I progressed to Care Supervisor at the end of 2022 and love it as no two days are the same.

When I’m not at work I’m found walking around woodland areas and fields with my dog Theo, I don’t enjoy it so much in the winter but Theo does and that’s all that matters."

Sharon Pointer
Office Administrator & Trainer

I started working in elderly care in 2006 as a Care Assistant and progressed to Care Supervisor. I then subsequently became a Care Co-ordinator for a new start up company and was “the office“ for the first 18 months. I was promoted to Assistant Manager and helped the company to grow and expand. I have previously been a Registered Manager, for 2 very different companies, one being Mental Health & one for the Elderly.

I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge over the years and have completed various qulaifications in Health and Social Care, the most recent being my Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management.

Since 2020 I have slowed down and now work part-time to meet the needs of my expanding family and I love spending time with my grandchildren, they are my little rays of sunshine. I enjoy gardening, reading and crocheting, most of my family and friends have a crochet hat! I have 3 dogs who I love walking and getting out with.I am an avid football fan and a lifelong Hammer (West Ham United), had I had the opportunity to play girls /lades football when I was younger, I would have relished it.

My new chapter with Bluebird Care Norwich & North Norfolk is part of my care journey and I hope that I can bring my experiences into my everyday job as an Administrator and Trainer and also know that I will learn lots more along the way, as long as I am in care there will be learning opportunities for me.
