​Bluebird Care Northumberland South is supporting Huntington’s Disease Awareness Week 2016, an annual campaign run by the Huntington’s Disease Association (HDA), from 11-17 May.

Bluebird Care Northumberland South is supporting Huntington’s Disease Awareness Week 2016, an annual campaign run by the Huntington’s Disease Association (HDA), from 11-17 May.

The Huntington’s Disease Association England & Wales (HDA) exists to provide support and information to professionals and people directly affected by Huntington’s disease.

Huntington’s disease is an incurable, degenerative disease of the central nervous system that affects more than 6,000 people across the UK. In 97% of cases this disorder is caused by a hereditary gene.
