Tea party with a Jazz band!

Enjoyed by customers and staff alike

Enjoyed by customers and staff alike

The staff Xmas party was followed by the Tea Party, held on 8th January at the Daventry Leisure Centre.

Music was provided by Jazz Numbers a band from Northampton who regularly play at The Windhover pub and I can really say that the music was amazing and got many of our staff and customers into the spirit of the event as can be seen from the pictures.

Although, the overall turnout was lower as some of our customers were in hospital awaiting discharge or were feeling unwell on the day, we still gathered around 70 individuals (both staff, customers, extended family members etc) on the day concerned and I’m sure all had a brilliant time.

Here are some pictures from the event and we have many more in the office too. We had some surprise dancers with Paula and Mrs Vessay taking the dance floor several times to the tunes from Jazz Numbers.

Many thanks again to all the carers who attended and helped out on the day and the management staff and especially Louise who arranged the event bringing together our customers and carers on the day.

The event also enabled us to raise money for a good cause. Although the Chairman of the Council Chris Long was unable to attend, we were graced by Councillor Chris Over who presented the raffle prizes.

Money raised at the event will be presented to Chairman Chris Long in due course to put towards a charitable cause helping the local hospital in Daventry i.e. Danetre Hospital.

Here are details of the winners...
