Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service visit Bluebird Care Dementia Cafe

On Friday 10th April, Bluebird Care Northampton & Daventry were delighted to welcome Neal King from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service to deliver a safety talk as part of our usual Dementia Cafe meeting at the Abbey Centre.  It was very informative and I think we all left with plans to make our homes a little safer! Neil signed up 5 of our guests for free fire safety checks at home too.  We also had Ellie join us, who is on placement with the Young Persons with Dementia team studying to become an OT, who wanted to come along and see what we get up to. It is nice to join up with other professionals to enhance the lives of those in our community. 

Don't forget - next month we will be joined by our local Northamptonshire Police force for another safety talk.
