Last week, members of the Bluebird Care Northampton team travelled to London to attend the prestigious Stars of Social Care Awards 2026, hosted by the wonderful Josie Gibson.
It was a truly special evening that brought together some of the very best people from across the social care sector to celebrate dedication, compassion and excellence within our industry.
We were incredibly proud to have several members of our team recognised among this year's finalists. Kelly and Gemma were both shortlisted for individual awards, while the Bluebird Care Northampton team was also honoured with a shortlist nomination. To be recognised on a national stage alongside so many outstanding care professionals was a fantastic achievement in itself.
While we didn't bring home a trophy this year, the evening was about so much more than winning. It was an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable work being carried out every day across the care sector, reconnect with colleagues from across the industry, and enjoy a well-deserved evening of glamour and recognition.
There was plenty of excitement as everyone swapped their uniforms for formal wear, dressed up for the occasion and enjoyed an unforgettable night in the company of fellow care professionals who are making a real difference to people's lives.
Being shortlisted for a Stars of Social Care Award is a significant accomplishment, and we couldn't be prouder of Kelly, Gemma and the entire Bluebird Care Northampton team. Their nominations reflect the dedication, professionalism and genuine compassion they bring to their roles every single day.
We would like to congratulate all of the winners and finalists from the evening. It was inspiring to hear so many incredible stories and to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations that continue to raise the standards of care across the UK.
A huge thank you to the organisers for hosting such a memorable event. We returned home feeling proud, inspired and even more committed to delivering outstanding care to our customers and supporting our local community.
