Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in early March 2020, Luke has been making weekly personal protective equipment (PPE) drop offs across all of the areas that we cover across the Hambleton and Richmondshire districts.
During the PPE drop offs, our Bluebird Care assistants are re-stocked with gloves, aprons, type llr (fluid resistant) surgical masks, Covid-19 tests and anti-bacterial hand gel across Bedale, Catterick, Easingwold, Northallerton, Richmond, Stokesley and Thirsk.
Luke, our Field Care Supervisor for Catterick, Richmond, Barton and Bedale areas, made the latest (PPE) drop off in the Bluebird Care car to our care assistants on Thursday 27th May.
As our office remains open, any of our care assistants can pop in to collect more PPE.
Here at Bluebird Care Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick we maintain our Covid-19 protective measures procedures. All levels of PPE are reviewed weekly and Government guidance is closely monitored and followed.
Throughout the pandemic, we have sent newsletters to both our customers and care assistants to keep them updated on the latest Government guidelines and to ensure that they are all safe and well.
Nearly all of our care assistants have had their Covid-19 vaccination, and we were available if any of our customers needed taking to their vaccination appointment.
If you’d like to discuss our Covid-19 procedures in more depth, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with our friendly team on 01845 440 271.
