As part of the sponsorship, the care provider has equipped each player with two match kits, personalised training kits and coats, with the old kits donated to charity.

Bluebird Care Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick provide home care directly to their customers. Their visits offer many services, from personal care to companionship, home help, to trips into the community, right up to 24-hour Live-in Care.

Prior to the sponsorship agreement, Bluebird Care Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick supported the football club throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, with personal protective equipment for the club house and social distancing mats for match days.

As sponsors, the Bluebird Care office’s logo will be worn on each kit for every single match day, as the team of twelve players compete in the Teeside Junior Football Alliance League. The season typically runs from September to May and is contested between ten teams.

The sponsorship deal will last two seasons and will greatly benefit grassroots football in the local area.

Speaking of the announcement, Jonathan Smedley, Brompton Juniors’ Under Nine's Manager, said:

“Myself, the under nines, and the club are incredibly grateful for the very generous sponsorship package Bluebird Care Northallerton, Thirsk and Catterick have provided for the next two years. It is only through generosity like this that grassroots football can survive.

“Bluebird Care have gone over and above not only with their sponsorship of this remarkable group of players, but in ensuring that our CafĂ© could re-open safely and that our parents, players and coaches were safe during COVID-19 restrictions through donations of PPE, hand sanitizer and screens.

“It is clear Bluebird Care share the same values as Brompton Juniors, demonstrating a strong sense of community, inclusivity for all and working together as a team, especially in difficult times.”

Jackie Lothian, the Registered Manager at the Bluebird Care office, said:

“Being ‘caring and kind’ is something important to us and is part of our everyday values. As well as caring for our customers and our team members, we also care about the local community we live in, and we are delighted to be able to support Brompton Juniors Under nines Football team.

“We think they look amazing in their kit and their beaming smiles show how much this means to them. We wish the boys lots of luck for the rest of the season.”
