A Day to Remember: Bluebird Care North Tyneside at the Regional Care Awards

Four colleagues from across our network were shortlisted as finalists in four separate categories, and it was a genuine privilege to see their hard work recognised on a regional stage.

The finalists represented Live in Carer of the Year, Dementia Champion, Care Expert of the Year and Coordinator of the Year, a fantastic reflection of the breadth of talent within Bluebird Care North Tyneside, North Northumberland and Sunderland & North Durham.

Beyond the awards themselves, the day was simply a lot of fun. We enjoyed lovely food, some brilliant entertainment including musical bingo (a proper laugh, with some excellent prizes on offer) and dancing well into the evening. It was also a real treat to meet CEO Jonathan Gardener during the ceremony and to reconnect with familiar faces from across the wider Bluebird Care family.

A huge congratulations to our finalists Mobola, Michelle, Rachael and Elaine. Michelle was awarded Dementia Champion for her incredible work supporting customers and their families through the challenges of a dementia diagnosis. Mobola was recognised for her outstanding contribution to live in care, having transformed the day to day life of the customer she supports through her dedication and compassion.

Everyone who took to that stage as a finalist represents exactly what Bluebird Care stands for: premium, person centered care delivered with heart. We are proud beyond words to have such talented people on our team.
