Kate McLellan has completed the Northumberland Trek, raising an impressive £1,280 for Alzheimer's Society.
Taking on this challenge so close to home meant tackling familiar but far from easy Northumberland landscape, from steep climbs to long, exposed stretches of trail. Kate finished with her fundraising target well exceeded and, somewhat less triumphantly, one toenail worse for wear. A price worth paying for the cause.
At Bluebird Care North Northumberland, we see every day how dementia affects families across our local communities, from Berwick through to the wider catchment we cover. Alzheimer's Society plays a vital role in funding research and support for people living with dementia, which is why Kate's efforts mean so much to us and to the families we support.
A huge well done to Kate for completing the trek and raising such a brilliant amount. It is not too late to add a donation if you would like to support the cause. If you would like to add to her total, her fundraising page remains open and every donation makes a difference.
