Bluebird Care North Northumberland is proud to be the named care provider for guests staying at Woodside Caravan, a fully accessible self-catering property at Riverside Wooler Holiday Park in the heart of Northumberland. The caravan is part of Leuchie's self-catering offer, designed specifically for people with disabilities or mobility needs for whom standard accessible accommodation simply is not enough.
Woodside sleeps up to six, is dog friendly, and comes equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. There is a mobile hoist, profiling bed, tilt shower chair, wet floor shower room, recliner chair, adapted cutlery, easy grip utensils and a range of sensory equipment available throughout your visit. The site itself has an indoor swimming pool with a pool hoist, a bar and restaurant, an outdoor play park, a fly fishing lake, and a cold plunge pool and sauna new for 2026.
It is open to anyone who would benefit from a properly adapted space, whether that is someone living with a neurological condition, an older person who needs a little extra support, someone recovering from illness or injury, or a disabled person who simply wants a holiday without having to compromise on their comfort or independence.
Wooler is a fantastic base for exploring Northumberland. The Cheviot Hills are on your doorstep, the Northumberland coast is a short drive away, and the surrounding countryside is some of the most peaceful in the north of England. You deserve to experience it.
