Shannon Dandy, Registered Care Manager
Shannon leads both the Lincoln & South Lincolnshire and NE Lincolnshire & West Lindsey teams with passion, experience and an unwavering commitment to the people in her care. With 13 years of experience in the care sector, she brings a depth of knowledge and a genuine love for the work that sets the tone for everything her teams do. Shannon joined Bluebird Care in 2021 as a Care Coordinator and quickly made her mark, progressing to Registered Care Manager in May 2025, a journey that reflects both her dedication and the trust the organisation has placed in her. In her role, Shannon is responsible for the overall quality, safety and compliance of care across both franchises, working closely with her management teams to ensure every customer receives the premium, person-centred care they deserve. Shannon is just as passionate about supporting her care teams as she is about the customers they look after. She believes that when staff feel valued and well-supported, that care flows naturally through to the people they visit every day. Outside of work, Shannon keeps active at the gym and leads a healthy lifestyle. She also runs a creative side business in balloon décor and event styling, a world away from care, but one that showcases her energy and eye for detail. Above all, she loves spending time with family and friends.

Rachel Kemp, Deputy Care Manager
Rachel has been part of the Bluebird Care family for six years, and in that time, she has grown through several roles within the organisation to become the Deputy Care Manager supporting both the Lincoln & South Lincolnshire and NE Lincolnshire & West Lindsey teams. Her journey is a testament to what commitment, compassion and a genuine desire to grow can achieve. Rachel has a particular passion for dementia care, an area that demands not only technical knowledge but real empathy, patience and understanding. She brings all three in abundance. For Rachel, every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference to their day, and she carries that philosophy into everything she does. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys curling up with a good book and spending quality time with family and friends.

Michelle Carter, Care Supervisor
Michelle has been part of the Bluebird Care team for five of her seven years in the care sector, and in that time she has developed a particular expertise in complex care that makes her an invaluable member of the team. She has a strong and heartfelt interest in supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease and Huntington's disease, two conditions that present profound challenges for the individuals affected and the families who love them. Providing skilled, compassionate care in these circumstances requires a very particular combination of knowledge, sensitivity and resilience, and Michelle brings all of it. Michelle is also a firm believer in the importance of an active lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys walking and exploring new places, and you'll regularly find her at the gym, investing in her own health and wellbeing with the same discipline she encourages in others.

Amelia Collins, Care Supervisor
Amelia is one of the newest members of the Bluebird Care management team, and she has brought fresh energy and enthusiasm to her role as Care Supervisor for Grimsby and Louth from day one. With two years of care experience behind her, she joined Bluebird Care excited by the opportunity to develop her skills and make a genuine contribution to the team. Amelia is passionate about supporting people to remain independent at home, believing that with the right care and the right approach, people can continue living life on their own terms, in the places and communities that matter most to them. Outside of work, Amelia is currently in the middle of renovating her new home, a project that, by all accounts, she approaches with the same enthusiasm she brings to work. She also loves crochet and shares a deep appreciation for cosy home comforts.
