Bluebird Care Newport launches Winter Recruitment Campaign

Published: 07/12/2016

In response to the ever-increasing demand for their homecare services, Bluebird Care is embarking on a recruitment drive to meet the growing need for Care Assistants across Newport and Monmouthshire.

The Winter months can be a difficult time for those who rely on the care and support of others, particularly with loneliness affecting an estimated 1.3 million older people across the UK. This has been highlighted by Bluebird Care with their 'Every Visit Counts' campaign and more recently by ITV's Good Morning Britain '1 Million Minutes' campaign.

Ray & Helen Morrison, the Owners and Directors of Bluebird Care Newport said:

"Our Bluebird Care Assistants are uniquely placed to help combat loneliness by visiting customers in their own homes and delivering the care and support they need, especially if they are the only people they see during a particular day or week.

Our hard-working and dedicated team do a fantastic job, but we need more people like them in order to meet the demand for care which is growing all the time as a result of the ageing population. That's why we've launched this Winter Recruitment Campaign."
