Ray & Helen Morrison
Owners & Directors

Bluebird Care Newport is owned and run by Ray and Helen Morrison who between them have over 45 years’ experience of working in healthcare in senior management and business development roles.

Dean Jones
Care Manager

Dean has been with us since January 2017 and brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the care sector for over 25 years.

As Care Manager, Dean is responsible for the operational running of the business on a day-to-day basis. This includes overseeing the recruitment and training of staff and ensuring the quality and safe delivery of our care services.

Dean holds a QCF Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management (Health & Social Care) and a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Health & Social Care Management.

Zoe Harper
Lead Coordinator

Zoe joined Bluebird Care in 2018 as a supervisor having worked in a variety of roles in care for a number of years.

Hainvg now moved into the role of lead coordinator, Zoe is repsonsible for organising and scheduling care visits, matching the requirements and needs of our customers as closely as possible to the personalities and availability of our carers.

Zoe holds a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care

Sophie Simpson
Supervisor

Sophie joined our team in 2016 as a Care Assistant and progressed to the role of Supervisor. Sophie is responsible for the training, development and on-going support of our carers. She ensures high standards of care are maintained by undertaking quality checks, conducting supervisions and provides support with on-going training.

Sophie holds a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and is currently working towards her QCF Level 4 Diploma.

Terri O'Hennessy
Supervisor

Terri joined our team in November 2017 as a carer, and progressed to a supervisory role in July 2021. 

Terri meets all of our new customers and is responsible for carrying out the assessments necessary to develop and agree a person-centred care plan. She is also responsible for reviewing care plans and ensuring that they evolve alongside our customers changing needs.

Terri holds a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
