Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland is tackling loneliness and isolation by offering free companionship visits to the people of Ely, March and Wisbech.
Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland is tackling loneliness and isolation by offering free companionship visits to the people of Ely, March and Wisbech.The service, aptly named ‘Bluebird Care Buddies’, will be provided by our experienced team members who have been delivering care and support to local residents in their own homes since 2013.
Director of Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland, Carolyn Dailey, commented:
I am very proud of our Bluebird Care Buddies. We feel strongly about helping people who feel lonely and isolated and we have an amazing team that can bring half an hour of companionship to anyone that would enjoy a chat and a cup of tea in their own home. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the difference, and we feel that having someone to talk with can make a big difference."
