February is always a busy month at Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland, and this year was no exception. A romantic month with Valentine’s Day dominating events, we celebrated our own work anniversaries as well as other special days.

Bluebird Care Work Anniversaries
Two of our staff members celebrated work anniversaries in February. Georgia Blatter, one of our Care Supervisors has been with us for 2 years; while Sarah Laffan from our Ely & Fenland team celebrated her first anniversary with us.
Well done to them both!
Probation Pass
Phoebe Loveridge became a fully fledged care assistant in our Ely team having passed her probationary training period.
She told us: “I am really pleased that I have passed my probation!”
Phoebe will be providing homecare services in Ely and the surrounding areas.
Care Assistant of the Month – January
January’s Care Assistant of the Month was Karen Smith.
Karen has continued to show immense commitment towards her role and customers and is a worthy winner of our first award of 2020!
Well done Karen!!
Celebrating special days
Valentine’s is always an exciting time in February, and we celebrated love in all forms, including the love of a partner, family members and friends. We also encouraged our staff to brighten someone’s day on Random Act of Kindness Day and supported everyone to talk about mental health on Time to Talk Day.
We’re increasingly understanding that mental health is as important as physical health, and the more open we can be about mental health, the more we can change lives.
From the archives: February in years gone by
In 2018, we presented goodie bags to our customers as part of Random Acts of Kindness Week. Our customers loved receiving the tasty treats.
