2019: Our review of the year

We look back at an exciting 12 months in care...

As we near the end of the year, it’s good to reflect on what happened over the previous 12 months. And what an exciting 2019 it was. Fresh from moving into our new offices in 2018, we followed it up by winning awards, making a video and taking on a new territory.

Here’s what happened with #TeamNFKW in 2019…

Care Lip Sync Challenge

Inspired by the success of the US Police Force, the Bluebird Care group held its own Lip Sync Challenge. Nominated by our friends at Bluebird Care Cornwall North, we produced our own #CareLipSyncChallenge mash up!

Company of the Year

“We all agree that this business provides a first class service in a competitive sector.”

That’s what the judges said before naming us as Company of the Year at the Ely Standard East Cambridgeshire Business Awards. As well as the main award, we were also named Medium Business of the Year and won the Customer Service award.

New Territory

We expanded our business in September, with the acquisition of Bluebird Care Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. This exciting move saw us overhaul the Cambridge offices and bring the NFKW values to the team.

Events at our Ely Care Hub

We’ve held plenty of events at our Ely HQ this year. From film days to cake sales, knit ‘n’ natter sessions to Christmas card making, we’ve had some great fun with our customers. We’re already planning more events for 2020, so check our Facebook page and our newsletter to keep up with the latest news!
