Director Carolyn Dailey talks to workingmums.co.uk about making the switch from retail to home care.

By her mid 30’s Carolyn made the switch into the care sector, for a better work life balance and to provide quality care.

Trained as an optician from school Bluebird Care director Carolyn Dailey originally worked for Specsavers for over 10 years, rising to director level. By her mid 30’s Carolyn made the switch into the care sector, for a better work life balance and to provide quality care.
 
With Specsavers also being a franchise, Carolyn was able to bring this knowledge and experience with her. Opening up Bluebird Care Newmarket in 2013, Carolyn has since opened an office in Fenland and purchased a second territory, Kings Lynn & West Norfolk.
 
On top of this Carolyn is keen to get involved with Bluebird Care’s developments, most recently being heavily involved in the brand refresh and their marketing working party.
 
Whilst it may be long hours, Carolyn commented:
 
I have more control than ever before over when and where I work and I wanted to create something that I knew would make a difference
