Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland has been awarded the 2016 Spirit Award by one of Britain’s biggest providers of homecare services in the UK, Bluebird Care.

At the provider’s Annual Conference, Carolyn and Keith Dailey, who together run the Bluebird Care Newmarket & Fenland and Bluebird Care Kings Lynn & West Norfolk franchises, were presented with the Spirit Award for their passion for providing high quality home care, in line with Bluebird Care’s ethos.

From over 180 Bluebird Care franchise owners across the country, Carolyn and Keith accepted the prestigious award at the provider’s October’s Annual Conference.

In qualifying for the award, Carolyn and Keith were submitted to a strict selection process. The judging panel agreed that the couple had demonstrated a real dedication to continuously improving their service in the core aspects of quality, staff retention and development. This in turn has led to measurable improvements in outcomes and experiences for their customers. Carolyn and Keith go above and beyond for each and every customer and staff member, implementing a culture and values that are evident in all areas of their business practice.

Both Carolyn and Keith are heavily involved in the local community, developing new and unique initiatives such as the Bluebird Care Buddies, which provides a companionship service to help tackle loneliness. Initiatives such as these truly represent the values of the Bluebird Care brand, which aims to provide a service that exceeds the expectations of day-to-day care, and is always there for customers and the community.

Accepting the award, Carolyn and Keith said:

Since setting up the Bluebird Care Newmarket and Fenland office in 2013, we’ve always been clear that we wanted to provide the best, most respectful and exemplary service possible. To do so, we think it’s self-evident that we have to strive to excel in all parts of our business, from staff training and rewards to customer care.
We genuinely love our job, and are honoured to work with such happy, hard-working and dedicated staff. Our business would not be what it is today without them. We are accepting this award on behalf of our team, as we really believe that having a positive culture is a team effort. We are delighted to be receiving this award and hope that we are in a position to vie for it again next year!”
Bluebird Care Chief Operating Officer, Duncan Berry added:

Bluebird Care has been delivering high quality care to thousands of customers at home for over a decade, and we are privileged to have hundreds of franchises that genuinely represent the company’s values, ethos and dedication. I’m thrilled to be presenting the Spirit Award to Carolyn and Keith, as they truly embody everything that Bluebird Care stands for.
