On Sunday 30th November, Bluebird Care teams from across the North East will be lacing up their trainers, pulling on their elf hats, and dashing through Newcastle to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, as part of our ambitious £50,000 fundraising mission.
This year’s Elf Run marks an exciting milestone. Thanks to the generosity and support of our communities, staff, and partners, we have already raised almost £26,000 for Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Scotland, officially tipping us past the halfway point.

We’re calling on our customers, carers, families, and local supporters to help us get even closer to our target. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference — and as a festive bonus, every contribution enters you into our raffle packed with fantastic prizes.
The Elf Run is more than a fun day out; it’s a celebration of community spirit, teamwork, and compassion. Each year, the event brings together carers, families, and supporters across the region in a colourful sea of jingling bells and pointy shoes — all united for a cause that touches so many lives.
