Bluebird Care (New Forest) is delighted to announce that it has been rated overall Outstanding. Congratulations to the New Forest Team.

As one of four Bluebird Care offices set up and run by Bernadette and Hugo Mills, the Lymington branch has been providing Home and Live in care services to the Lymington/New Milton area and to the Waterside community since 2012.
 
Managing Director, Bernadette, said, “Over the last 6 years, the team has worked very hard to deliver a premium home care service to our customers. The CQC regulation has become a lot tougher; enormous support from our whole group goes into ensuring full compliance in the provision of a safe and trustworthy home care service. The ‘Overall Outstanding’ result is a testament to our Registered Manager, Leanne Clamp, and her commitment and dedication. I’m extremely proud of the New Forest team and so pleased that the CQC has awarded them the highest level of recognition for their efforts.”
 
This is the first inspection under Leanne’s registered management. Through hard work, studying and personal commitment, she has risen through the ranks of Bluebird Care’s career path, having started with Bluebird Care New Forest 5 years ago as a care assistant in the community.
 
The New Forest team has some amazing staff members who work together and support each other to provide a smooth and efficient care service to our customers. Registered Manager, Leanne, said “I would like to thank my Deputy, Karol, Coordinator, Lorna, and Supervisors Teri and Jo for all their help, as well as our teams in the Waterside and Lymington/New Milton area for their continuous hard work. The staff can be proud of this achievement as they are our reputation in the community”.
 
The CQC is the independent regulator of Health and Social Care in England which regulates all care services, both public and private, to make sure that Home Care Providers meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. The CQC inspection, done in April 2018, assesses whether Bluebird Care (New Forest) provides their service according to the CQC fundamental standards which are ‘Well-led’, ‘Caring’, ‘Responsive’, ‘Effective’, and ‘Safe’. After 2 days' inspection, the CQC gave Bluebird Care an ‘Overall Outstanding’ rating.
 
Bluebird Care (New Forest) has received ‘Good’ in the following categories; Responsive, Effective, Safe, and ‘Outstanding’ for being Well-led and Caring. The team are justifiably delighted with the outcome.
 
As a care company grows it is both particularly difficult and especially important that high standards are maintained. Bluebird Care (New Forest) are both one of the few and one of the largest care at home providers in the area to be recognised as ‘Overall Outstanding’ by the CQC; indeed, only 2% of Home Care providers in the UK achieved an ‘Overall Outstanding’ rating.
 
The CQC commented during the inspection: "People were cared for by exceptional staff who were motivated to provide kind, compassionate and respectful care...They enhanced people's quality of life as much as possible...[and] went the 'extra mile'...The leadership and management of the service was outstanding...[promoting] strong values and a person centred approach."
