Bluebird care Mid Staffs pride ourselves as being one big team, we strongly believe that  "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much, If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself" 

If we look after our care staff, our care staff will do a great job looking after our customers.

Samantha Taylor - Care Manager

Abigail Conneely

Secondment Field care supervisor

Abigail started with Bluebird Care Mid Staffs in September 2023, Abigail has personal experience in care and  knowledge of Mental Health conditions, alongside supervisory, customer services and child care experience. Abigail is proving to be a quick learner and has shown nothing but a positive attitude towards trying new things.

We hope to teach Abigail lots of new skills and experience as a secondment supervisor. We are also encouraging Abigail to complete her care certificate and hopefully to obtain an NVQ in Health and social care. 

Emma Hill

Office Support

Emma started working for Bluebird Care in 2017 as a community care worker. Emma then moved into a small team of care workers to support a customer with an acquired brain injury, Emma really enjoyed this and took great pleasure in becoming a Team Leader within this team. Emma has since changed job roles and now enjoys working in the office supporting the management team with audits and admin work. In addition to office work Emma also manages our out of office emergency on call telephone and supports our care team and customers to a high standard. 

Emma has achieved her Care certificate, Level 3 Diploma in adult care and a Level 3 in Leadership and Management within her time at Bluebird Care Mid Staffs. 

 

Amy Mason

On Call Support

Amy started working for Bluebird Care Mid staff's in 2018 as a Care worker, Amy enjoyed this role however due to a change in her families circumstances was no longer able to commit to her original hours of work, We recognised Amy's potential and trialled a new position of 'Manager assistant' which we could be make more flexible for Amy. Amy did this role well and quickly up skilled herself in more of an admin role. Amy now works as On Call Support which means that Amy manages the emergency on call telephone and supports all care staff and customers. Amy has a great rapport with our care assistants and customers.  

Amy has obtained her Care certificate and a Level 2 certificate in understanding Autism. 

 

Tammy Russell

Carer Mentor

Tammy started working for Bluebird Care Mid staffs in 2020, Tammy had never worked in care before, with support and guidance Tammy has excelled in her role as Community care worker and is now a carer mentor. Within this role Tammy supports staff old and new, she carries out competency checks and provides support to our customers. Tammy is extremely passionate about tasks being completely correctly and will strive to make things better. Tammy has great potential and we cant wait to see what the future brings for her. 

Tammy has achieved her Care certificate, Level 2 Mental Health First aider, Level 2 Diploma in care and a Level 3 Diploma in adult care during her time with Bluebird Care Mid Staffs. We are keen for Tammy to complete a leadership and management course in the near future.
