Meet the team
Allen has spent his entire career in the care industry, He joined Bluebird Care in 2007 as one of our first 2 carers. Since then, Allen has done every job in the company and worked his way up to the role of Owner/Director. Allen’s dedication and passion have taken him to the top of the company and he now spends the majority of his time on business-related activities and auditing our services to ensure they are compliant with the regulation set out by the Care Quality Commission.
Amy (Dot) joined us as a Care assistant in May 2017, Amy worked in domiciliary care and with our Learning difficulty customers as this is a great passion of Amy’s. Amy developed her skills and knowledge quickly and it immediately became transparent that Amy had the skills we needed for the positions of a care co-ordinator. In September 2018 Amy was offered the role of Care co-Ordinator and has become extremely popular with our care staff and customers, Amy has a very infectious personality and always goes above and beyond for everyone. Amy has NVQ levels 2, 3 and 5.
Field Care Supervisor
Claire joined us as a care assistant in February 2016, Claire settled into her role quickly after having a background working within the NHS as a HCA. Claire worked with regular customers and care workers and developed excellent professional relationships. Clare has completed her NVQ level 2,3 and is currently working on her NVQ level 5. Claire joined the management team as a secondment field care supervisor covering maternity leave in January 2020, Claire has again adapted to this role and has developed her skills further, In October 2020 Claire was made a permanent Field Care supervisor and works with all care staff and management team to ensure our customers receive a high standard of care.
Business Development Manager
Emma has been working in the care industry since 1997 & joined us as Senior Care Supervisor at Stafford in 2010, being promoted to care manager for Cannock in 2011. Her nurturing style and commitment to high quality has always been central to her role. Emma has been responsible for the high quality of care we deliver as well as managing the office and care worker teams. The opportunity arose for Emma to take on a new challenge, within Bluebird Care and in 2016 she became our Business Development Manager with her goal set to develop and grow the business, looking at our services for the future.
Emma holds many qualifications including the PTTLS training qualification & level 5 leadership in Heath & Social Care.
Field Care Supervisor
Nadine joined us in March 2016 as a care assistant, Nadine worked within the south staffs area and not working in care previously she quickly developed her skills and knowledge. In July 2018 Nadine completed a 6 month secondment period and became a full time field care supervisor, Nadine has settled into her role extremely well and over see’s medication and manual handling. Nadine is also the trainer for medication and manual handling. Nadine has completed her NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 5. Nadine works alongside the management team ensuring that all of our customers receive a high standard of care.
Sam joined us as assistant Care Co-ordinator for Cannock in 2012 and has excelled in all aspects of her role. She then got the job of Care Co-ordinator for Bluebird Care at our South Staffs office. Sam has completed her NVQ level 2 & 3 in Health and Social Care and has achieved a management qualification. Sam has also completed her NVQ level 5 Management. Sam then moved back to Cannock with a new job role of Quality & Compliance Officer for the Mid Staffs and South Staffs Branches in 2016. Sam has now been promoted to Care Manager for Bluebird care Mid Staffs, Sam is now working closely with Allen to ensure we deliver a high standards of care to all of our customers and that Bluebird care continue to stay compliant in all areas. Sam is also a train the trainer for Basic life support, Dementia and End of life Care.
