Home care in Great Baddow

Home care in Great Baddow from local Care Experts

It's good to be home. If your mum or dad lives in Great Baddow and needs more help day to day, our Care Experts can support them in the home they know.

We know the call often comes from a son or daughter who is juggling work, family and worry. We'll talk it through with you, explain your options and help you choose what fits. Most of the families we support arrange and pay for care privately, and we'll take you through each step. Bluebird Care Essex and Redbridge has been established for 17 years.

What we offer

  • Visiting home care. Visits of 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Many families choose two or three one-hour visits a day, seven days a week, for help with getting up, meals, medication and getting ready for bed.
  • Live-in care. A Care Expert lives in your parent's home and is there day and night.
  • Dementia care. Calm, familiar routines that help someone living with dementia stay settled at home.
  • Companionship. Time for a chat, a walk or a trip to the shops.
  • Respite. Cover so a family member who usually helps can take a break.
  • Long sits. Longer visits for company or reassurance.
  • Waking nights and sleeping nights. Support overnight, either awake or on hand if needed.

Our promises

We arrive when we say we will. We stay for the full visit. And before we leave, we always ask, "Is there anything else?" That might mean a cup of tea, a sit and a chat, or bringing in the washing.

How it works

  1. A free home visit. We come to your parent's home, meet them and you, and listen to what matters to them.
  2. A care plan. We write a plan around their routines, likes and needs, and agree it with you.
  3. Meet your Care Experts. We introduce the Care Experts who will be visiting.
  4. Regular reviews. We check in and update the plan as needs change.
