A summer afternoon with our customers and team

Some days remind you exactly why you do this work. Our Summer Party was one of them.

The plan was straightforward. Some music, some snacks, a few games, and plenty of time to sit and talk.

Community Signing Choirs Cornwall opened the afternoon, singing and signing together in the sunshine. Before long a good part of the crowd had joined in. They finished with 'Cornwall My Home', which went down really well.

Drums4Fun CIC followed, and Graham Kemp had drums and shakers in almost everybody's hands within minutes. It did not take long for a group of people who had never played together to find the same rhythm.

Then B&K Events set up the lawn games. Our customers and our team turned out to be far more competitive than any of us expected. There were rematches!

Thank you to Mount Ambrose Cricket Club for having us, and to everyone who gave their time to make the day happen. Thank you also to our Care Experts and office team, who did the work behind the scenes so that everyone else could turn up and enjoy it.

And thank you to our customers and their families for coming along. Seeing everyone together, chatting, playing and joining in, was the point of the whole thing.
